Concrete Handbag is a four-piece band blending noise, post-punk, and dream pop. Originally formed in 2021 as a former wedding band. They built their sound around layered guitars, lo-fi textures, and a shared fascination with the tension between melody and distortion.
Influenced by city life and underground scenes past and present. The band avoids nostalgia, aiming instead for a sound that feels raw, current, and deliberately unsettled.
Their debut EP, Sidewalk Etiquette, was recorded using borrowed gear in a basement studio and released independently. Since then, they’ve performed in DIY spaces and small venues, steadily growing a following through word-of-mouth and emotionally honest shows.
